We are delighted to announce that, in total, £4385.50 has been donated by Undley Pumpkin Patch & Maize Maze to My WiSH Charity. The charity specifically supports both patients and NHS staff at the West Suffolk Hospital and Newmarket Community Hospital.
Our expert pumpkin carver will be on site to demonstrate lots of techniques for carving your perfect pumpkin. We hope this provides plenty of inspiration to help you create your own seasonal pumpkin masterpiece.
Pumpkin picking direct from the vines – a highly pleasing and unusual sight to view set against the rural backdrop of Suffolk farmland. With thousands of pumpkins available and approximately 20 varieties of pumpkin on offer – ranging from small to huge – visitors in 2020 will be amazed by the incredible spectacle of pumpkins on offer with an excellent selection lasting right the way through October.
The 2020 Maize Maze has been custom designed to celebrate the actions of the NHS and key workers, as well as Captain Sir Thomas Moore. It’s also been especially created with wider pathways to make social distancing easy.
We want to reassure you that countless hours have been put into reviewing the latest guidance and ensuring your safety at this year’s Undley Pumpkin Patch and Maize Maze event, which opens on Saturday 3rd October 2020.
Undley Farm Events will once again be hosting the Undley Pumpkin Patch in 2019. The event will be open during the four weekends in October, commencing with the weekend of October 5th/6th 2019, and will also open throughout the October half term (21st-25th October). We were delighted to be filmed by BBC News: East of England last week. The BBC team was making a feature about this summer's dry conditions and exploring the effects it's been having in the region. We are very pleased to confirm that despite the hot spells, we are extremely happy with our crop this year and will have plenty of pumpkins ready for our opening in October.
